Reason for music video choice
Reason why I have chosen this song for my music video is because it has a easy tune to follow which I can use to create a good music video, as well as having little words during the song which takes lip syncing out of the picture, however it has a man at the start an the end which my dad will be voicing due to me believing he will fit this role well, the song is a chill song which therefore I can have my friends take part and help during the recording and take part in my film. The song isn't massively long so therefore I should be fine with how my filming would go for this song.
Music Ideas
My music video ideas will be based around a song which is slow passed and chilled, this is because the weather is often not great so I would be able to use this in a way which helps portray my music video better, as well as following the conventions which will make the music video more understandable as well as people knowing why I have filmed it in such a way due to the weather and the background the way the actors are acting and the song choice to all link in to make the music video understandable.
The beginning of my music video, it will start off black and white with an older actor who is saying the words of the song, which is about life. This goes on for about 30 seconds throughout this time I will be using various different camera angles and shots as well as slowing down certain shots to make it look better and more like a music video. As well as this being played in a small dark room with little to no light coming into the room, the only source of light should be the lamp from which is shadowing him throughout his part. This will be used with Red Heads which will create a better effect for my film.
further on in my music video I will have some people playing a trumpet and other instruments, especially as the trumpet is the main instrument during the music video, therefore I can use the trumpet in different shots and angles as people play the instrument in the recording room in music.
As well as having a group of my friends which will also be portrayed as the band, because the song is fun and lively as well as being chill, I will be filming them in bournemouth going into the sea and walking round where the beach huts are as well as other various places of bournemouth, with portrays fun and excitement.
The end of the film will end how it started black and white and with the older actor sat down and saying the end words to the song.
OHD - Priorities
This is my chosen music choice which I will have my dad and my friends to help me out. At the start my dad will be playing the voice of the man who's voicing at the start and end of the film as well as using certain props like money and chairs to help my filming.
During the video I will have a group of friends and one of them stuck in side and wanting to go out, but isn't a load, the song words give this a reason for why I have chosen this to happen during my music video.

CINEMATOGRAPHY
The cinematography or a director of photograph is the person in charge of actually shooting the film. He is the head of the camera and lighting departments, and as such he has a big role in the making of any music video. The use of light can influence the meaning of a shot. For example, film makers often portray villains that are heavily shadowed or veiled, using silhouettes. Techniques involving light include backlight and under lighting. Responsible managing camera crews and lights crews, they oversee the selection and manipulation of technical equipment to create striking images on screen. The visual Impact of a film is driven by the creative choices a cinematographer makes. In the early motion picture age before an organized structure or specific job roles were defined, cinematographers were the sole creators of the entire film production on the set. They were also the directors on the set.
MUSIC ARTIST AND CHARACTERS
The music artists I have used is a school student and a school teacher who will be playing certain instrument which are heard in the song, this is a drum kit and a saxophone. This will be edited into my music video between parts of where my characters of the song are being shown, I have two main actors who is my dad and step mum who are shown in the light of happiness and joy as they go round sandbanks and other parks around Poole, where they are walking, sitting and running around.
SETTING and LOCATION
The setting and Location of my music video is my dads house where I have used a bedroom as a desk and working room, in which he tells a story about being happy, this then changes to him and his wife being outside in the nice day light and being happy, furthermore this cuts to a music room in which two other characters are playing instruments of the song which will piece together nicely to show effect of the song, the song continuously jumps from my dad in the room to outside to the people playing the instruments. Location is mainly the beach as well as a park and a walk way.
LIGHTING
There is mix lighting during my recording this is such as bright lighting and medium lighting to darling lighting and lighting which has been made by red light to help show light on certain parts and places to add effects during the song.
